Feed and water cats and dogs at scheduled times each day

Walk or play with a shelter dog whenever possible

Cleaning cat cages and scooping litter daily

Cleaning kennels and let dogs out in fenced play area at scheduled times

Spend time with shelter cats whenever possible to socialize

Improve the shelter living environment as much as possible

Give lots of love to both the dogs and cats in our care

Foster a dog or cat needing medical attention or waiting on a home (application on page)

Bottle feeding baby kittens (with training or prior experience)

Participate in fundraisers

**We ask the volunteers to be at least 16 years of age and commit to volunteering a minimum of 4 hours per month and a 3 month commitment. Volunteers will be asked to do 4-5 training sessions with current volunteers before allowed to be on their own. Volunteers ages 8-15 may volunteer with a parent’s direct supervision. Volunteers must be 18 years old to help with dogs, volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent consent form signed before volunteer work begins.
