Fundraiser Feedback Please!WIAR is thinking about possibly doing a new fundraiser in the late summer/early fall. We would like feedback from our community
because we will be relying on everyone's help with donations and participation! Our newest idea is a Prom Dress Sale. We would
be taking those old prom dresses that most of us have hanging in a closet somewhere and putting them to good use by selling
them to raise money for the animals in need. If you would be interested in donating or participating in this event please
let us know (via email) so we can get the ball rolling!!! Hope to hear from you all!!!

5K Run Walk Rain OutSadly our 5K was rained out today! Dont worry though, we will be announcing our Rain Out day shortly so
please check the websites events page, the blog, and facebook for more information on the new race day! Hope to see you all
there and hope even more will be signing up!

Animal Awareness DayOur Awareness Day on May 15th at County Market in Monmouth was a HUGE sucess! From all the members of WIAR, we want to send
a big thank you to County Market in Monmouth for letting us set up at their store and three very dedicated kids
who gave up their Saturdays to raise over $300 for homeless animals in our area! When we all work together we can make this
world a better place for all living creatures, great and small.

A Day In MayThis month we have many upcoming activites!
May 15th will be Animal
Awareness Day at County Market in Monmouth IL. Members of WIAR will be on hand to answer questions you may have about
animals and tell you a little more about WIAR and what we do. There will be educational coloring books and stickers for the
kids. May 22nd is a big day for us at WIAR, as we will have two events going on that day. Our regular Doggie
Wash has been reschedualed for this weekend instead of the last weekend of May (Memorial Day Weekend). Bring your
Doggies out for a bath and/or nail trim! Also on May 22nd we will be hosting our Anual Sand Volley
Ball Tournament at Tooties in Monmouth IL. Contact Mike at Tooties or a member of WIAR for more information
on getting signed up.

Kittens!There have been some new arrivals at Mister's House! Momma Louis recently gave birth to 5 beautiful baby kittens! She is now
the proud mother of 3 little girls and 2 little boys. BUT we can't forget about the other kitten who has taken up residence
at Mister's House! Baby Buck! Check out Mister's House Page for more information on the cats and kittens who live there!
