Animal Awareness DayOur Awareness Day on May 15th at County Market in Monmouth was a HUGE sucess! From all the members of WIAR, we want to send
a big thank you to County Market in Monmouth for letting us set up at their store and three very dedicated kids
who gave up their Saturdays to raise over $300 for homeless animals in our area! When we all work together we can make this
world a better place for all living creatures, great and small.

A Day In MayThis month we have many upcoming activites!
May 15th will be Animal
Awareness Day at County Market in Monmouth IL. Members of WIAR will be on hand to answer questions you may have about
animals and tell you a little more about WIAR and what we do. There will be educational coloring books and stickers for the
kids. May 22nd is a big day for us at WIAR, as we will have two events going on that day. Our regular Doggie
Wash has been reschedualed for this weekend instead of the last weekend of May (Memorial Day Weekend). Bring your
Doggies out for a bath and/or nail trim! Also on May 22nd we will be hosting our Anual Sand Volley
Ball Tournament at Tooties in Monmouth IL. Contact Mike at Tooties or a member of WIAR for more information
